Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This website uses only the few cookies it needs to work. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies, and our visitor statistics work without cookies.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser, so it can remember something between pages or visits. Websites can also store small notes in your browser in a similar way (“local storage”); this policy covers both.
The cookies we use
All of them are strictly necessary or remember a choice you made, so the law does not require your consent for them.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
lang | Remembers the language you chose (English or Português). | 1 year |
ffsid | Only on pages with a form: protects the form against misuse by other websites and shows the “thank you” message after sending. | Until you close the browser |
ff-cookie-notice (local storage) | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice, so it isn’t shown again. | Until you clear your browser data |
ff-lang-chosen (session storage) | Remembers that you answered the “view this page in English / Portuguese?” bar or chose a language with EN | PT, so the bar is not shown again during this visit. | Until you close the tab |
ff-nav-clicked (session storage) | Keeps a menu from opening by itself on the page you just opened from it. | Until you close the tab |
ffdevice | Only for the people who manage this website, in the private admin panel: recognises their device for login security. | 1 year |
What we don’t use
No Google Analytics, no advertising or social media tracking (such as a Facebook pixel), and no embedded maps or videos from other companies. Our visitor statistics are counted on our own server without cookies: see the Privacy Policy.
Other websites
Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and our social media pages open those services, which use their own cookies under their own policies.
Removing cookies
You can see and delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you delete them, the website forgets your language choice and you may need to fill in an open form again.
